The Gibson Custom Shop Flying V 1967 Reissue faithfully recreates the year that the Flying V became a rock icon — when Jimi Hendrix spray-painted his Flying V psychedelic and Albert King used one to record Born Under a Bad Sign. The korina body replicates the rare wood used in the original 1958 design, with the 1967 specification mahogany neck and rosewood fingerboard providing the playability refinements Gibson introduced in that year. The long-tenon neck joint and PAF-spec Custombucker pickups ensure the instrument sounds as good as it looks.
