The guitar is based on the instrument Gatton used throughout his career, with the '51 Nocaster-style pickups wound specifically to capture his extraordinary tone — a combination of country twang, jazz warmth, and blues grit that no other guitarist could replicate. The NOS finish recreates the look and feel of a well-preserved 1953 instrument.
